Rafael Hurtado, Ph. D. is a tenured research professor in studies on Paternity, Maternity and Domestic Life at the Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed his Master's and Doctoral studies at the Instituto Empresa y Humanismo of the University of Navarra, Spain. He is a member of the academic committee of the International Observatory of the Family (UNAM) and IOF's own journal, The Natural Family: An International Journal for Research and Policy. He is the author of more than 30 scientific publications in the journals Church, Communication and Culture; Metaphysics and Person; Revista Empresa y Humanismo; The Chesterton Review; Scripta Theologica; Open Insight; and others. He has also published the books: Fatherhood in the Thought of Karol Wojtyla (2011) and Reflections on Work in the Home and Family Life (2014); edited A Stand for the Home: Reflections on the Natural Family and Domestic Life (2019); co-edited From Family to Community. An Interdisciplinary Study (2020); and translated Prof. Alice von Hildebrand's The Privilege of Being a Woman (2019) (all published by EUNSA Press, Spain).
