A failed Afghanistan policy that has led to hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing a terrorist regime, and a tragic waste of thousands of American lives and trillions of American dollars over twenty years.
A failed policy in Central America and the Caribbean that has led to millions of people illegally crossing our borders.
A failed China policy that has encouraged that country to challenge our leadership, and emboldened it by testing a game-changing hypersonic missile.
With all of these and other failures in foreign policy, what is the United States State Department doing? Why showing support for “International Pronoun Day”, of course.
“What in the heck is the State Department doing?”, you may be saying to yourself. But the Biden Administration is merely acting consistently with its policy of focusing on supporting wokeness rather than concentrating on the real problems facing our country.
Radical LGBT groups have designated October 20 as “International Pronoun Day” and are attempting to foist the day upon a public opposed to their neo-Marxist agenda. It’s yet another attempt to force sane people to use the insane pronouns: “she/her” to refer to biological males “who identify as female,” “he/him” to refer to biological women who “identify as male,” and “they/them” to refer to single people who do not identify as either sex or who are “gender-fluid.” The efforts of these radical groups, at least, have succeeded in winning over the Biden Administration as the State Department could not wait to express its support for the day. On October 20 the State Department tweeted:
The Tweet then has a picture showing several individuals with pronouns on their shirts that do not or may not match their sex and refer to single people as “they/them.”
In the linked article in the Tweet we are told that:
“In the United States, it’s becoming increasingly common for people to “share their pronouns”…These pronouns include the gender-neutral they/them/theirs — words that traditionally refer to a plural number but that today are used by some individuals who identify as gender nonbinary or who prefer not to share gender information. Other pronouns include the feminine she/her/hers and the masculine he/him/his. Some people are pioneering gender-neutral pronouns such as ze/zir/zirs…Knowing and using someone’s pronouns avoids accidentally assuming an incorrect gender based on a name or an appearance.”
The article then tells us that “the Department of State announced June 30 that U.S. passport forms will allow applicants to choose male or female gender, regardless of what their other documents indicate, and will eventually include an option for nonbinary, intersex and gender-nonconforming people.” Maybe the State Department will also allow people to list birthdates different from the ones on their birth certificates and to use photos of how people “view themselves” or would like to look. These changes will make it so much easier to locate terrorists and other wanted people.
So, Americans, do not worry about all the failures of the Biden Administration’s foreign policy. Do not worry about the fiasco in Afghanistan, the crisis on our borders, or the Chinese trying to dominate the world. The State Department has everything under control. It is making sure that everyone in the world is using the correct pronouns not based on reality but rather on subjective opinion. We can now all sleep better at night.
