Prof. dr Zoran Čvorović is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Kragujevac. He graduated at the Belgrade University’s Faculty of Law in 1995, and earned his magister degree in 2006 at the Faculty of Law, University of Kragujevac, having defended the thesis titled “Christian Norms in the Eclogue”. In 2013 he earned his PhD title by defending the doctoral thesis “Criminal Law in the Ulozhenie (Law Code) of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich”. He has authored a number of scientific papers on legal history. His main field of specialty is the history of state and law. He has published a book titled “Law and the Orthodox Religion”, the first work in the Serbian language covering the very important topic of Christian legislature, reminding readers as to how much the modern world is in debt to this religion.
