Miša Djurković, Ph.D. Es el director del Instituto of European Studies in Belgrade, Serbia. Dr. Djurković has a Ph.D. in political philosophy from Belgrade University (2005); he has been principal research fellow at the Institute of European Studies in Belgrade since 1999. Author of 15 books and 5 collections of articles, Dr. Djurković has written in the fields of political theory, international relations, European Studies, conservative politics, and bioethics. He has lectured at Monterrey University in Mexico, the University of Granada in Spain, and at many conferences in countries around the world. He served as an adviser to the Serbian Prime Minister for Political Affairs from (January – August 2005); Secretary of the State Council for Kosovo and Metohija (March - October 2005); Political Adviser to the President of the Serbian People’s Party in Montenegro (August 2006 - July 2008); and as a political consultant for several other political parties and councils throughout the region. As a business consultant since 2009 he has served many international groups including BBC Consulting, dealing with political development in the region, especially Serbia, Montenegro, and Macedonia. Dr. Djurković is considered a leading expert on international relations in the Balkans. Aprt from his books and academic articles, Dr. Djurković is a regular contributor for several magazines and newspapers and he is very active in different public and legal debates involving family law, immigration, education etc.
