Miša Djurković

Miša Djurković, Ph.D. (1971) PhD in 2005 at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade in the field of political philosophy.  Employed at the Institute for European Studies in Belgrade since 1999.  Since 2011, he has been managing the institute's global project and since July 1, 2016, he has taken over as director of the institute.  He deals with political theory, European studies, international relations, bioethics and popular culture studies.  He has been present in the leading domestic and foreign media for almost twenty years.  He is a regular columnist for Politics and has collaborated with NIN, Vreme, Nedeljnik, etc.  He was advisor to the prime minister, secretary of the state council for Kosovo and Metohija, advisor to the leader of the leading opposition party in Montenegro.  He was also involved in political and business consulting.  He has organized numerous local and international conferences (from charity camps to scientific conferences).  He is a member of the Serbian Philosophical Society and the Center for European Renewal.  He is the author of about twenty books and collections of works, some of which have been published in several editions.  1.
