The clinics have been deceiving women, hiding from them the consequences that an abortion can cause, with the sole purpose of making more money, High Court stated.

The General Directorate of Inspection, Management and Health Strategy of the Community of Madrid has sanctioned two abortion centers in the region for irregularities in their advertising.

The sanction comes after the complaint filed by the Spanish Foundation of Christian Lawyers which found that both Clínica Dator and El Bosque did not comply with current regulations when the advertising their clinics.

This sanction comes just a few days after the Supreme Court condemned ACAI, the employers’ association that brings together 32 of these centers, for misleading advertising by concealing the consequences of abortion from women.

The President of Christian Lawyers, Polonia Castellanos, warns: “Media from all over the world have echoed the sentence, we will present it in the European Parliament, and we will look for all the necessary allies to put an end to the abortion business in Spain.”

Castellanos added: “This sanction is just another example of the numerous irregularities committed by these companies, which were also sanctioned a few years ago by the Community of Madrid for deceiving women. These businesses should not receive any kind of public funding”. She also noted that “the Supreme Court’s condemnation is so serious that it is incomprehensible that they continue to receive money from the public health system. … The High Court’s ruling has found that these centers have been deceiving women, hiding from them the consequences that an abortion can cause, with the sole objective of making more money.”
