“Perhaps nowhere do we see the work of Satan in America as clearly as we do in the sexualization of children—destroying their identity, confusing their gender, and creating unresolved guilt and self-hatred,” declares Erwin Lutzer, pastor emeritus of the Moody Church, in his book We Will Not Be Silenced. Lutzer writes that one of the main ways woke activists (i.e., Satan’s minions), are sexualizing our children is by using the public school system to indoctrinate them in radical LGBT ideology.
Since the time of Lenin, Marxists and other leftists have always tried to use the public education system to indoctrinate youth “in the new thinking.” For as Lenin said: “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” Continuing in the tradition of Lenin, woke leftists in America are using our public education system to inculcate the radical LGBT agenda into the minds of our children. How are they doing this? By implementing “comprehensive sexual education programs” into our schools. What is “comprehensive sexual education?” Developed by Planned Parenthood and the Sexual Information and Education Council of the United States (SEICUS), two of the most radical organizations in the country, comprehensive sexual education is a curriculum whose “emphasis is on how to have sexual pleasure either with partners or alone…In brief, all forms or sex, as long as it is consensual, is normal and to be enjoyed.” In other words, a curriculum designed to destroy our country’s Judeo-Christian understanding of sex and with it our entire Judeo-Christian civilization. Lutzer writes:
“The goal of the secularists is clear: attack any form of decency, sacredness, or normal sexual relations. Confuse the children by awakening sexual desires reserved for adults, and utterly destroy the concept of the traditional family. Encourage children to have multiple sexual experiences. And in the process, reap the consequences: more abortions, more anti-religious bigotry, and most importantly, more broken homes. The more children born out of wedlock, the more susceptible they are to being shaped according to Marxist principles.”
And how do the woke activists convince school systems to adopt this destructive curriculum? By using deceptive language. Lutzer states:
“Sell the new curriculum as ‘seeking respect for all forms of sexuality.’ Sell it as ‘inclusion and not exclusion’ and ‘compassion not bullying.’ Sell it as ‘human flourishing,” not sexual oppression. Sell it as ‘coming to maturity in sexual matters.’ Above all, sell it!”
And what about people who oppose this radical LGBT agenda? “And call all those who oppose these measures bigots, haters, and right-wing religious fanatics,” Lutzer writes.
Significantly, in the process of destroying the Judeo-Christian foundation of our country, this curriculum is literally destroying our children. Lutzer states:
“This kind of education stimulates the desires of children, leading to various expressions of sexuality that end up destroying and defiling their souls. ‘The effect of Early Sexual Activity on Mental Health’ is a 2018 report that evaluated 28 studies of peer-reviewed medical literature from 1966 to the present. Researchers found that ‘early sexual debut increased the levels of depression, suicidal ideation, aggressive behavior, psychological distress, anxiety, stress, loneliness, poor well-being, regret and guilt. It also increased the negative social behavior such as substance and abuse and risky sexual behavior.’”
What are we to do to combat this sexual indoctrination of our children? Lutzer urges us to do two things. First, we should consider sending our children to faith-based schools or engaging in homeschooling. He writes: “It is dangerous to place our lambs in public schools if they are being indoctrinated into pagan sexuality, the normalcy of deviant behavior, the mockery of God’s intention for men and women.” If parents are not able to do this, they must work overtime with their children to “deprogram” them after each day at school.
Second, we must fearlessly speak the truth and expose what our schools are doing. Lutzer writes:
“Do we have the courage to stand against this assault on our children? Or will the bullies win the battle for the next generation?…We are here to shine a light into this dark culture…[but] we must be prepared for the radicals who will call us hateful names, all the while claiming that they have taken the high ground.”
In his book We Will Not Be Silent, Erwin Lutzer calls us to confront the woke leftists who are using the public school system to indoctrinate our children in radical LGBT ideology. Why are the leftists doing this? To destroy the Judeo-Christian foundation of our country so that a Marxist utopia can be built on its ruins. If we do not act soon, America will completely lose the next generation as well as our country in the process. It is time for us boldly to take a stand. Audentes Fortuna iuvat.*
