We all know that the Disney Corporation has been taken over by the radical LGBT mob. Among other things, Disney openly touts its “not-so-secret gay agenda” and its policy of actively increasing the number of LGBT characters in its productions, forbids its employees from using the phrases “ladies and gentlemen” and “boys and girls” in order not to offend people who identify as neither sex, proudly sponsors a “Pride” line of items targeted at young children, and publicly opposes a new Florida law that forbids public schools from indoctrinating students in the radical LGBT agenda.
Significantly, Disney has paid a huge price for going full-blown woke. After Disney opposed the above-mentioned Florida law, Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida Legislature stripped Disney of its special taxing district status in the Orlando area (which had saved the company millions of dollars each year) and U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) introduced a bill that would end copyright protections for many Disney characters. In addition, numerous worldwide petitions opposing Disney’s support of the radical LGBT agenda, including by IfamNews, European-based Citizen Go, and Christopher Rufo (who has exposed much of Disney’s grooming efforts), have garnered hundreds of thousands of signatures. And, most significantly, since taking the side of the radical LGBT agenda in the culture wars Disney’s stock value has decreased by almost $50 billion and its public reputation ranking among the top 100 most visible companies in the United States has slipped from 37th place to 65th place.
With all these hits you would figure that Disney would have learned its lesson and would refrain from taking sides in the culture wars, right? Wrong. In the new Disney Pixar movie Lightyear, an animated film geared toward children that debuts on June 17, Disney has made one of the main characters (Alicia Hawthorne) homosexual and inserted a scene where she kisses her same-sex spouse. As a result of Lightyear’s promotion of the LGBT agenda, fourteen countries that support traditional morality have already banned the film and more countries may follow.
Disney, however, has remained defiant. As reported by Reuters, Lightyear producer Gayle Susman declared:
“We’re not going to cut out anything, especially something as important as the loving and inspirational relationship that shows Buzz [Lightyear] what he’s missing by the choices that he’s making, so that’s not getting cut.”
Likewise, Chris Evans, who is the voice for the main character, stated:
“It’s great that we are a part of something that’s making steps forward in the social inclusion capacity, but it’s frustrating that there are still places that aren’t where they should be.”
So there you have it. Despite losing billions of dollars and its reputation taking a large hit over its overt support for the LGBT agenda, Disney remains defiant and continues its efforts to groom our children. It appears that only bankruptcy could make Disney drop its support for the LGBT agenda and return to the family-friendly values of its founder. Let’s hope that it learns its lesson before then.
