Newly elected Arkansas Governor Sarah Sanders delivered the GOP rebuttal to President Biden’s second State of the Union address on Tuesday, as Fox News reports. She called for a “new generation of Republican leadership” and described the choice between Democrats and Republicans as a choice “between normal or crazy.”
“As a mother of three young children, I have learned not to believe every story I hear. So forgive me if I didn’t believe much of what I heard from President Biden tonight. From out-of-control inflation and violent crime to the dangerous border crisis and the threat from China, Biden and the Democrats have let you down,” Sanders said.
“In the America of the radical left, Washington taxes you and lights your hard-earned money on fire, but you are crushed with high gas prices and empty grocery shelves, and our children are taught to hate each other because of their race, but not to love each other or our great country,” she added.
She called the Biden administration “totally captured by the radical left” and said the “dividing line” in America is no longer the division between right and left.
“The choice is between normal or crazy,” she added.
