Whether Bob Chapek or Bob Iger is at the helm of Disney, the entertainment giant refuses to learn one key lesson: if you try to indoctrinate our children in the LGBT agenda, you will pay a steep financial price.
For example, when Disney came out strongly against a law that tried to prevent the indoctrination of children as young as five in the LGBT agenda, the State of Florida stripped the company of tax benefits totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. When Disney then purposedly inserted a gay kiss scene in the animated film “Lightyear” to show support for the LGBT agenda, the movie bombed at the box office. And just this past November Disney released its animated film Strange World that has the company’s first lead homosexual character and prominently features a gay romance. How do you think this film did? As one news headline screamed: “Disney’s Strange World Receives Worst Audience Score In Animation Studio History.” Indeed, the movie is expected to lose $100 million in theaters. And because of Disney’s actions to indoctrinate our children in the LGBT agenda, the International Organization for the Family (the publisher of Ifamnews.com) launched the “Dump Disney” petition drive that has garnered over 15,000 signatures so far.
You would think that Disney would have finally learned the lesson that “if you go woke, you go broke.” But of course Disney has refused to learn this because it is firmly committed to foisting the LGBT agenda on our children. Indeed, the company wants to indoctrinate our children before their reason matures and they can question what they are seeing on the screen.
Thus it should come as no surprise that Willow, Disney’s latest streaming fantasy series geared to children, prominently features a lesbian romance between two main characters in the show. As director Jonathan Kasdan explained in Polygon:
“[H]opefully, the way that it’s gonna happen is that these kinds of [queer] stories, particularly like this one, that were just organic to the narrative we were telling, find their way in, and it becomes less of a surprising and unusual thing to see. Because it’s a part of the landscape of the world around us, just like the diversity elements of casting. If you look at the original Willow, by no fault of anyone, it’s not very diverse. And as we enter 2022, the world has changed, in the way we’re absorbing entertainment, and the faces we’re reflecting in entertainment have expanded enormously, and we hope the show can be growing as the world grows. Just as, frankly, the movie was.”
And while new Disney CEO Bob Iger has promised to keep Disney out of political fights in the future, he said he is still committed to pushing woke agendas in Disney productions. Indeed, at a recent Disney town hall meeting, when he was asked about Disney’s promotion of the LGBT agenda, Iger reaffirmed the company’s firm commitment to indoctrinating our children:
“One of the core values of our storytelling is inclusion and acceptance and tolerance. And we can’t lose that.”
So it looks like nothing will change at Disney in regard to foisting the LGBT agenda our children. To express your disgust with Disney’s actions, please sign the “Dump Disney” petition here. And avoid exposing your children to any Disney productions to let the House of Mouse know that “if you go woke, you go broke.”
