Jordi Picazo is a Spanish-born journalist. He has a BA (Hons) and MA in English Philology from the University of Barcelona (1986) and holds the Qualified Teacher Status in the United Kingdom. He has worked as a teacher of Spanish and English in Spain and the United Kingdom. He has also studied the subjects of the Ecclesiastical Baccalaureate of Philosophy. He did doctoral studies in Social Psychology of Language at the University of London (1990-95) and taught at Harrow School.

He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists of the United Kingdom and of the Il.lustre Col.legi de Periodistes de Catalunya, Spain; also a member of the RNA (Religion News Association) in the USA, among others. Jordi is now engaged in an MA in Corporate Communication, Protocol management, and Event planning at the UOC University in Spain. Author of 6 books, he has collaborated with several online news outlets. Proud father of two.
