Kevin Costner, the lead actor in “Yellowstone,” has just won the Golden Globe Award for “Best Actor in a Drama TV Series.” Prior to this year Yellowstone, already in its fifth season, had never received even a Primetime Emmy nomination in any of the major categories and had also been completely shut out of the Golden Globes, Breitbart News reports.
The fact that Yellowstone had been overlooked in the past had not seemed to bother its millions of fans. The series is so popular that it spawned the spin-off series “1923” and the upcoming series “1883.”
The series stands out by largely avoiding the moralizing and lecturing that has become commonplace in mainstream television entertainment. As Breitbart News reported, however, creator Taylor Sheridan has denied that his series is “conservative” or “red-state” entertainment.
The Golden Globes Award ceremony on January 10 was hosted by Jerrod Carmichael, the openly gay comedian and star of the NBC’s short-lived The Carmichael Show. While the non-woke Yellowstone finally won an award, it was not able prevent the ceremony from still openly promoting the woke LGBT agenda.
