No matter the topic under discussion, the famous Roman Senator Cato the Elder (234-149 BC) famously ended all of his speeches, “And Carthage must be destroyed”. Why did Cato do this? Because he knew that whatever issue was being discussed in the Roman Senate, the key issue facing his country would always be whether Rome would defeat Carthage to become the dominant power of the Mediterranean world of the time.
Cato’s time is very similar to ours in the West. Whatever topic is being discussed in Washington and state capitals, the key issue today will always be whether the radical LGBT agenda will be successfully foisted on our children—tomorrow’s leaders—or whether people of good will rise up to defeat this insidious ideology.
Make no mistake about it. The proponents of the radical LGBT ideology want to completely wipe out thousands of years of Western civilization by indoctrinating our children. They want to teach our kindergarteners about “gender identity” and sexual orientation, have public school teachers “transition” boys into girls and girls into boys without letting parents know, allow biological males to compete on female athletic teams and use female rest rooms and showers, place radical LGBT agenda messages in formerly “family-friendly” media outlets like Disney and Nikelodeon, and the like. Radical LGBT activists are waging a war on our children and all too many parents are not aware of what is going on—which is why we are losing. These activists have clearly studied the Russian tyrant Lenin, who famously declared:
“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”
So as I write on cultural issues for Ifamnews, I will end all of my articles “And the radical LGBT agenda must be defeated….” The stakes are just too high for us to lose this war. And as Rome finally defeated Carthage in 146 BC—just 3 years after Cato’s death—and became the dominant world player, we too can defeat the radical LGBT agenda if we never relent in protecting our children and defending Western Civilization.
