Max Silva Abbott is a lawyer from the Universidad de Chile. D. in Law from the University of Navarra, Spain. Associate Professor of Philosophical Foundations of Law, Philosophy of Law and Introduction to Law at Universidad San Sebastián (Concepción, Chile). Author of 4 books and more than 80 articles of his specialty in collective books and specialized Chilean and foreign magazines, lecturer in more than 80 national and international congresses and seminars. Weekly columnist of the newspaper El Sur, Concepción since 1999, with more than 700 articles and editorials to date. His main lines of research are contemporary legal positivism, bioethics, family and currently, the Inter-American Human Rights System.
