Agenda 2030: an ‘almost’ perfect roadmap

It is an almost infallible tool of success for the cultural hegemony of the left with a new language and a roadmap that cannot be rejected. They just haven't counted on one small detail: that God has already conquered the world.

Agenda 2030: an ‘almost’ perfect roadmap

The other day I stumbled upon a writing by a friend about Agenda 2030, and everything that was bothering me over the summer came back to my mind.

The beginning of the school year has kept me focused on family; driving social engineering to the margins of my thinking. But it’s now back in the spotlight.

My friend said that Agenda 2030–which, by the way, is a non-binding resolution and not an international treaty–is “an ideological and spiritual guide for the progressives who rule in all the parties around the world”. It aims to replace everything that Christianity has built with a new world order that will replace God with ‘Mother Earth’. That’s why they call it the “Great Reset”. It’s about wiping the slate clean.

As we have already commented several times, it’s not new. It started long ago, from several failed attempts, and is now being taken up again with more strength. One of the roots of the Agenda is the Club of Rome’s report on “The Limits to Growth” (1972), which insisted on reducing population in the West because people were going to wipe out all the resources. Then there are the documents of the Rio de Janeiro Summit (2012) from which came Agenda 21 and the Earth Charter, the one that is kept in an ark that bears too much resemblance to the ark of the New Covenant where the tablets with the 10 Commandments were kept. Everything has been thought through: that resetting needs icons, that it needs idols because otherwise people will turn their eyes to God… and that cannot be allowed.

Many progressive leaders have seen “the revolutionary potential” of Agenda 2030 and have welcomed it with open arms.

When you have time, I suggest that you read the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) contained in the Agenda, and see the ideologies and trends that are tucked between the fine words and the goals that no one would add a ‘but’ to: hunger and poverty, health and well-being, water and sanitation, decent work and economic growth, industry and innovation, inequalities, sustainable cities, responsible production and consumption, ecosystems and climate action, peace and justice.

In short, it is an almost infallible tool of success for the cultural hegemony of the left with a new language and a roadmap that cannot be rejected. They just haven’t counted on one small detail: that God has already conquered the world.
