Trump has called for George Soros and his son Alex to face racketeering charges under RICO. “George Soros, and his wonderful Radical Left son, should be charged with RICO because of their support of Violent Protests, and much more, all throughout the United States of America,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
George Soros, the founder of Open Society Foundations, is one of the largest donors to progressive, liberal causes throughout the world. The Soros family was one of the largest donors to Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign, donating more than $85 million during the 2024 election. Over the years Soros has spent millions to attack and silence pro-life, conservative causes in dozens of countries.
Trump has highlighted the fact that Alvin Bragg, the DA who prosecuted Trump in New York, was backed by George Soros. President Biden awarded Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and Trump’s message shows a pivot towards holding Soros responsible for his global attacks on faith, family, and traditional Western values.
