Freedom, education, religion

  • United States of America. After 21 years of discrimination by the state of Vermont, Christian students and schools will get the same support as students attending public schools.
  • New York. Several parents’ associations are protesting against the LGBT+ indoctrination of students: dozens of trucks carrying posters that read “Diversity, not indoctrination” have appeared in front of schools.
  • Kylee McLaughlin, captain of the University of Oklahoma volleyball team in Norman, denounced the coaches for being more devoted to criticizing the “privileges” of “white” girls than the actual sport.
  • Spain. After dozens of attacks against churches and religions, leaders of religious communities in Catalonia are mobilizing.
  • The European Bishops’ Conference has called on the European Commission to provide the European Representative for Religious Freedom with a budget that is essential for the full performance of his duties.

LGBT+

  • France. Police refuse to man LGBT+ demonstrations in June, planned to take place in neighborhoods where the risk to law enforcement is considerable.
  • Australia. Lyle Shelton, member of the International Organization for the Family and head of the Christian Democratic Party of the State of New South Wales (where his State continues to support gender transition with puberty blockers and genital mutilation), advocates for a ban on transgender teaching.

Family

  • United States of America. A mother, Chellsie Memmel, Olympic champion at 2012 Beijing Olympics, who retired at 23 to devote herself to her family, has returned to competition at 32 and with two daughters, to testify how motherhood does not prevent women from achieving any dream.
  • A research study has highlighted the importance of parental care for children up to the age of three.
  • At the African Film Festival a documentary on the beauty of the family is awarded in the short film category.

Life

  • United States of America. Texas denies public health coverage for abortion procedures, and polls show a growing number of citizens in favor of legal restrictions on abortion.
  • Research claims that women vaccinated against COVID-19 who are on birth control pills could be at a serious risk.
  • United Kingdom. The bishops expose the lie of euthanasia, stating that killing a sick person is not compassion.
  • Argentina. A report denounces the practice of abortion in advanced pregnancies; entirely against the provisions of the law. A federal judge in Mar del Plata has ordered the suspension of abortion throughout the country until the Constitutional Court has ruled on the matter.
