Karey Burke is a serious danger to our children. Why? She is trying to foist the LGBT dynamics of her family—where one of her children thinks he/she is in the wrong body (transgendered) and another believes that he/she is attracted to all sexual “identities” (pansexual)—on our unsuspecting children. How? By using her power at Disney, where she is the President of General Entertainment Content, to ensure that at least 50% of the entertainment giant’s regular characters are members of the LGBT and/or racial minority communities.
As reported by Christopher Rufo, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute who is a courageous opponent of schools and corporations indoctrinating us in radical critical race and LGBT ideologies, in a Disney-sponsored employee call Burke declared that Disney will do more to have LGBT characters in lead and recurring character roles. Burke said that she could relate to this issue because “I’m here as a mother of two queer children, actually. One transgender child and one pansexual child….”
Burke said that one thing that upset her was hearing from a colleague that Disney had only a “handful” of LGBT lead characters:
“And I went, What? That can’t be true. And I realized that it actually was true. We have many, many, many LGBTQIA characters in our stories and yet we don’t have enough leads and narratives in which gay characters just get to be characters and not have to be about gay stories. That’s been very eye-opening for me.”
That is why Burke and Disney are committed to including more such characters in its content. “I hope this is a moment where—shoot, the 50 percent of the tears, sorry, are coming—we just don’t allow each other to go backwards.”
Tragically, Burke is merely echoing the policy of Disney. As stated on its website “Reimagining Tomorrow,” Disney declares:
“Our intentions: To establish inclusion standards across all Disney General Entertainment content.
By 2022, 50% of regular and recurring characters across Disney General Entertainment scripted content will come from underrepresented groups….
Our Reimagine Tomorrow endeavor…builds on Disney’s longstanding commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The effort, announced to employees in 2020, reflects the actions and innovations Disney employees have taken across the company to affect workplace representation, content, and the communities in which the company operates.”
(As an aside, the phrase “diversity, equity, and inclusion” means “We hate white people, heterosexuals, Christians, and men.”)
So there you have it. Karey Burke and the House of Mouse are trying to foist radical LGBT ideology on our unsuspecting children by increasing the number of regular and lead characters that are members of the LGBT community. Unfortunately, this is just the latest example of woke Disney’s firm commitment to indoctrinate our children in radical ideologies. Let’s hope that more people see Disney for what it is and boycott this company that for years had supported traditional morality and family-friendly mores. Walt Disney is turning in his grave.
