All human beings have wounds in their souls because society has treated them as objects, said renowned Catholic lecturer and author Christopher West.
At the start of the second day of the XIV World Congress of Families, the expert in the Theology of the Body emphasized the importance of knowing the origin of the human being and his destiny in life: “we will only be going around in circles, totally disoriented if we do not look at the sun, which is to look straight at God.”

Dr. Cecilia Blanchet Pezet, in her presentation, emphasized how technology has invaded the family dynamic and that family dialogue has been lost, and invited the attendees to raise children who will change the history of humanity for the better.
“Every five minutes a Christian is killed, this must stop,” said Christoph Machard, president of the French Riviera Institute, who asserted that religious freedom is a fundamental political right and that religious persecution is a source of toxic cultures.
Enrique Rojas also participated in the panel discussion themed “How to design a stable family”, where speakers included Fr. Guillermo Serra, Pastor Cash Luna and Tarek Shaban who said that “Islam preserves the family, it does not want it to fragment”, and also affirmed that Islam fights against all forms of extremism.
One of the most awaited panels was “Family and Entertainment” in which Tamara Falcó, Juan Manuel Cotelo, Neal Harmon and Eduardo Verástegui participated.
Simultaneous presentations by Nicki and Sila Lee; Jason Evert; Ron Deal; Maribel German; Jesús Amaya; Julia Borbolla; Meg Meeker, Miguel Moreno; Valeria Arellano; Ivette Laviada and Lucy Budnik completed the day’s program.
