An international coalition of organizations that includes the International Organization for the Family (IOF ) (founder of iFamNews), the National Organization for Marriage, Act Right, Le Salon Beige and Ordo Iuris, as well as the Serbian Center for the Protection of Family, launched the international Dump Disney petition. After Disney’s animated film Strange World, featuring a gay boy as a lead character, was released in Serbian cinemas, the Dump Disney petition was launched in Serbia as well, titled SklizniDizni.com. The international campaign is a reaction to Disney’s open attempts to recruit children for its “not-so-secret gay agenda” (as one Disney executive put it), as well as its campaign to normalize the idea that a man can become a woman if he simply says he identifies as one and that there are people who do not “identify” as either male or female. This goes so far that the Disney Corporation has forbidden its employees from saying “ladies and gentlemen” and “boys and girls” at Disneyland so as not to offend people of various gender identities, and instead instructed them to use neutral expressions such as “hello, everyone.”
Previously, Disney inserted a lesbian kiss in the animated film Lightyear to show support for the radical LGBT agenda. The film flopped at the box office, and was boycotted in some countries of the world, while in others the scene was cut out. However, Disney doesn’t seem to care about profit as much it does about being complicit in the sexualization of children and the imposition of globalist agendas.
In the latest animated film Strange World, the main character is a gay boy who is in love with another boy. And since it’s not enough to impose only one item from the liberal agenda on the audience, the boy is also biracial, because the current trend in the film industry implies endless virtue signaling and inclusion must-have elements such as characters of a different skin color both where they do belong and where they don’t–thus in 2021 a mini-series aired in Great Britain about Anne Boleyn, the wife of King Henry VIII and the mother of the later Queen Elizabeth I, who was played by a black woman. Also, Strange World inevitably includes references to climate change, which the leftists unreservedly believe in, and also the main character’s dog is disabled (it has three legs).
Instead of making a movie that the whole family can enjoy and relax to, the minions of radical ideologues have packed every possible item from their political agenda into a production aimed at children. Parents have the right to discuss with their children all important social issues, especially those concerning delicate topics such as sexuality and romantic relationships, in a manner they find appropriate and in accordance with their religious, moral and philosophical beliefs. They must also be warned if any film shows such content, as well as those that lead to early sexualization of children, so that BEFORE going to the cinema they can decide whether they will give their money for such a film or not.
As stated in the text of the Serbian petition: “The audience of this film are parents with young children, who at their age cannot take a critical view of their own or other people’s sexuality, and in this way non-traditional sexual relations are subtly propagated to minors. None of us take our children to the cinema to be exposed to LGBT ideology.”
We must understand that we are dealing with the followers of a totalitarian ideology that is increasingly being called the new Marxism, and which does not want “tolerance”, “equal rights for all” or to “spread love”, but rather to make us all renounce common sense, science and our beliefs, to believe that a man can become a woman and vice versa, that a man can give birth to a child, that the child is not breastfed but “chest fed” with “human milk” and not mother’s milk, and which does not allow anyone to have a different opinion because for these advocates of tolerance any dissenting opinion is called “hate speech.”
We applaud the reaction of parents in Novi Pazar, at whose request the film was pulled from the Cultural Center theater, and we call upon parents throughout Serbia to react as they think they should, and in any case to sign a petition that aims to pull “Strange World” from the Serbian theaters, as well as to boycott Disney channels and other products. We don’t want our hard-earned money to go into the pockets of those who want to destroy marriage and the natural family, and to “genderize” our children. That’s why we must Dump Disney!
