Abortion pills have plagued modern society for years. Not only are they immoral, as taking the life of an unborn baby always is, but the pill is dangerous to the woman also. Hemorrhaging, emergency surgeries, and even death have been documented results of the abortion pill.
This is why the technology of the APR (abortion pill reversal) method is so crucial to the pro-life movement. APR allows a woman who has taken the pill but thankfully changed their mind to have a chance at saving their baby’s life using progesterone, a natural hormone which blocks the affects of the abortion pill. However, pro-abortion advocates have condemned the use of this method, which is shown in the case of Dr. Dermot Kearney.
Dr. Kearney, former president of the Catholic Medical Association, has saved 33 babies from the abortion pill with APR treatment. But his lifesaving work has been brought to a halt. The General Medical Council has banned him from administering this drug for 18 months. Dr. Kearney is going to present his case at the High Court of the United Kingdom. The ban placed on this work is murderous, and we can only hope and pray that the High Court removes it — and allows him to carry on in the business of facilitating miracles.
