President Donald Trump has unleashed Christmas night airstrikes on ISIS “Terrorist Scum” in northwest Nigeria, delivering swift justice to radical Islamic militants slaughtering innocent Christians and fulfilling his bold warnings against such barbaric atrocities.

On December 25, 2025, U.S. forces targeted ISIS strongholds in Sokoto State with precision strikes ordered by Trump and executed by the Department of War, in coordination with Nigerian authorities.

Trump announced the operation on Truth Social, declaring the strikes a “powerful and deadly” response to ISIS’s vicious killings of Christians at levels unseen for centuries, vowing more if the slaughter continues. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth praised the president’s clarity, noting the attacks end the ongoing genocide, while Ambassador Mike Waltz affirmed America’s fight for Christians worldwide.

Senator Tom Cotton commended the brave troops for targeting these “bloodthirsty ISIS savages” who have also killed Americans, highlighting the administration’s proactive stance against radical Islamic threats that the left often downplays.

The airstrikes follow a surge of horrific attacks, including gunmen raiding a church in Kwara State, killing two and abducting dozens, and terrorists seizing over 300 from a Niger State school, where many remain captive. Trump’s prior threats to intervene “guns-a-blazing” if Nigeria failed to curb the violence, coupled with new visa restrictions on perpetrators and their families, expose the failures of appeasement policies. Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized decisive action against radical terrorists and Fulani militias, rejecting the moral relativism that allows such evils to flourish. This bold move sets a powerful precedent for combating global jihad, empowering conservatives to rally against cultural Marxism and weak international responses that endanger the faithful.
