UPenn female swimmer speaks out: Lia Thomas still walks around women’s change room with “male body parts” and “still attracted to women”

The swimmer has remained anonymous for fear of being cancelled by the LGBT lobby, but she states that Thomas is actually enjoying the attention. This, as 35 women swimmers are being told by the school to be comfortable with a male roaming their change room and shower stalls.

From centuries, female-only rest rooms, locker rooms, and showers were places where girls and women could feel safe from roaming male eyes and not have to worry about being overpowered by stronger men in intimate, private settings. It was a place where modesty could be protected and the body respected. All this, however, has changed over the past few years as radical LGBT ideologues have forced more and more private and public institutions to allow biological men “identifying” as women to use these private areas reserved solely for females. Indeed, these radicals have insisted that even biological males who have not had sex surgery and still retain their male anatomy be allowed to use these facilities with women.

Unfortunately, girls and women have feared to speak up against this injustice for fear the aggressive transgender mob will tar them as “transphobic” and cancel them on social media, get them fired from their jobs, get them de-platformed, and get their friends and neighbors to shun them, among other things. Indeed, when University of Sussex professor Kathleen Stock, an avowed leftist and lesbian, dared to defend womanhood against the radical transgender agenda, she was so harassed and threatened by the woke mob that she was forced to quit her job. And after feminist and Harry Potter author J.K Rowling likewise defended womanhood, the woke mob tried to cancel her on social media, doxed her, got the stars of the Harry Potter films to turn against her, and got her de-platformed from the 20th anniversary Harry Potter special on HBO. So the fear of speaking out against biological males using female rest rooms, locker rooms, and showers is real.

One woman, however, has bravely decided to go on the record, albeit anonymously, to protest this invasion of female privacy. At this woman’s college, the University of Pennsylvania, a biological male identifying as a female (Lia Thomas) has been allowed to participate on the school’s female swimming team and to use female locker rooms and showers, despite retaining his male anatomy. Among other things, allowing this male to access intimate female spaces is causing angst among the female swimmers on the team.  As reported in the Daily Mail, one female on the team stated: “It’s definitely awkward because Lia still has male body parts and is still attracted to women.” The female swimmer stated that female team members were rebuffed when they raised their concerns with the university:

“Multiple swimmers have raised it, multiple times. But we were basically told that we could not ostracize Lia by not having her in the locker room and there’s nothing we can do about it, that we basically have to roll over and accept it, or we cannot use our own locker room.”

The unfairness of the situation was palpable. The swimmer stated:

“It’s really upsetting because Lia doesn’t seem to care how it makes anyone else feel. The 35 of us are just supposed to accept being uncomfortable in our space and locker room for, like, the feelings of one…The school was so focused on making sure Lia was okay, and doing everything they possibly could do for her, that they didn’t even think about the rest of us… It just seems like the women who built this program and the people here before Lia don’t matter.”

Significantly, the female swimmer stated that the reason she was speaking anonymously, and why other people were staying silent, was due to their fear of attacks by the radical LGBT mob:

“There are a lot of cowards who don’t want to cause any kind of conflict or worry they might get looked at the wrong way…If this gets bigger, I might go on the record, but I’m definitely afraid. What I’m afraid of is that potential employers will Google my name and see commentary about things I said and think, oh, this person’s transphobic.”

So there you have it. Universities and most other private and public institutions are cowering before the radical LGBT agenda and allowing biological men to use the locker rooms, showers, and rest rooms reserved for women. Girls and women are having their legitimate concerns ignored and are fearful of speaking up because doing so could cost them, among other things, future employment. It is time for every person who believes in truth and free speech to boldly speak up against the radical transgender bullies to protect our daughters. If enough of us confront the transgender mob, we will win because they cannot cancel all of us.
