The Spanish Foundation of Christian Lawyers has exposed the offensive poster that appeared on bus stops in San Sebastian. It requests that proceedings be opened to investigate who the perpetrators are and whether the company that owns the advertising space was aware of the content of the posters.

The poster depicted the image of a baby in the mother’s womb and the question “If you abort now, what are we going to f*ck in 5 or 6 years?”, all accompanied by the logo of the Episcopal Conference.

Christian Lawyers denounces that the perpetrators may have committed a hate crime (Article 510 of the Penal Code), a criminal offense against religious feelings (Article 525.1 of the Penal Code) and crime of usurpation of civil status (Article 401 of the Penal Code).

The president of Christian Lawyers, Polonia Castellanos, recalls that “there have already been convictions for referring to practitioners of another religion as pedophiles. It seems that everything is allowed against Catholics. Justice cannot let such a barbarity go unpunished”.

Castellanos insists: “We Christians are tired of the continuous attacks by the same groups. We just ask for the same respect that is given to the rest of the citizens. It is intolerable that they appeal to freedom of expression to insult and vex Christians and offend our beliefs.”
