Mississippi’s officials have shed light on the serious repercussions of pornography, which include an alarming rise in problematic sexual activity among young people and an increasing tendency towards harmful sexual behaviors and addiction. Despite the legal obligations, Pornhub, one of the world’s largest purveyors of explicit content, has chosen to ignore the legislation and has instead blocked access to its site in these states. The UK Government has recently embarked on a similar journey, launching a comprehensive review of pornography regulation to address any loopholes allowing exploitative, abusive, and illegal online content.
