He lambasted socialism as a ruinous ideology, pointing to Venezuela’s 80% GDP plunge into a narco-dictatorship as proof of its inevitable failures.
Milei touted Argentina’s turnaround under his liberty-driven reforms: slashing a 15% GDP fiscal deficit to zero, plummeting inflation from 300% to 30%, halving poverty from 57% to 27%, and igniting growth through 13,500 state overhauls spearheaded by Federico Sturzenegger. These victories stem from policies rooted in ethics, not just economics. He debunked the myth of efficiency versus fairness: “The opposition between the dimensions of efficiency and fairness is false and erroneous. That is, what is fair cannot be inefficient, nor can what is efficient be unfair. From the perspective of dynamic analysis, fairness and efficiency are two sides of the same coin.”
Proclaiming “Machiavelli is dead,” Milei insisted that ditching moral values breeds injustice and societal downfall.
