In 2017, AMLO affirmed reconquista: “Yes,” when asked if Mexicans are reclaiming lost lands, tying it to migrant rights. Sheinbaum promoted “The Hymn of the Migrant,” with lyrics declaring: “Though my birth certificate says American, I am pure Mexican… We change places but not flags.” Mexico’s Parliamentary News Agency hailed it as “the reconquest of our territory.”
National Population Council chief Gabriela Rodriguez boasted in 2024: “We Mexicans are reclaiming our territory… Its size has been growing for 30 years.” Senator Felix Salgado echoed: “Mexicans are in our territory (California, Nevada, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Wyoming). We’re going to take back the territory that was stolen from us.”
This stems from elite disdain for assimilating Mexicans, using remittances and propaganda to erode U.S. sovereignty. Rather than military force, it’s demographic conquest via illegals beholden to Mexico City—echoing Venezuela’s GDP collapse under socialism. Schweizer exposes how this aligns with foreign powers exploiting open borders, turning migration into a tool against American stability. As Trump fortifies the border, this admission vindicates warnings of existential threats, demanding ironclad enforcement to preserve national integrity.
