Jim Caviezel, renowned for portraying Jesus Christ in “The Passion of the Christ,” recently voiced his belief that bigotry towards Christians is the most accepted form of bigotry in the world. During an interview on the Christian podcast “Prophets and Patriots,” Caviezel discussed his new film, “Sound of Freedom,” which centers around a government agent rescuing children from child traffickers in South America. He referred to the movie as a rejection of the persecution of Christian culture.
Caviezel criticized the current culture for demonizing Christianity, highlighting the overt Pride displays and celebrations that have taken place in June, particularly those supported by the Walt Disney Company and the White House. He expressed his dismay, questioning the placement of a rainbow flag above the President of the United States and the American flag, calling it “absolutely appalling” and a mockery of Jesus Christ.
In the interview, Caviezel also launched a scathing attack on the far left in America, accusing them of wanting to destroy both America and Christianity. He depicted them as the contemporary equivalents of Nazis and communists, claiming they aim to dismantle the republic and erode faith. Caviezel warned that the radical left would seek to remove biblical teachings on sexuality from society.
