J.K. Rowling has blasted Britian as “totalitarian, utterly deplorable” in a X post shared yesterday. This post comes as backlash against the arrest of comedy writer Graham Lineham in Heathrow Airport over social media posts criticizing transgender ideology. Mr. Lineham posted on his Substack after the arrest.
“I was arrested at an airport like a terrorist, locked in a cell like a criminal, taken to hospital because the stress nearly killed me, and banned from speaking online—all because I made jokes that upset some psychotic crossdressers,” he wrote.
“To me, this proves one thing beyond doubt: the UK has become a country that is hostile to freedom of speech, hostile to women, and far too accommodating to the demands of violent, entitled, abusive men who have turned the police into their personal goon squad,” he said.
J.K. Rowling has been a powerful voice in the fight against transgender ideology, especially in the fight against men joining women’s sports and entering women’s restrooms. Her support of Mr. Lineham represents a greater backlash against the insanity of forcing trans ideology on the public.
