The Guardian refuses to print IOF response to attacks by radical LGBT activist Judith Butler

One of the main tenets of journalism is objectivity. Clearly, The Guardian not only lacks integrity but is proud to be a tool for Marxist agitators like Butler.

The Guardian is known as a reliably left-wing newspaper in Great Britain. That is why we were not surprised when it published a vitriolic article by Judith Butler, a tired and angry radical LGBT activist who is still trying to remain relevant. In the article entitled Why is the idea of ‘gender’ provoking backlash the world over? published on October 23, 2021, Butler paints anyone who opposes the Marxist transgender agenda as “fascist”, and those who support it are guilty of “white supremacy,” “patriarchy,” and “Islamophobia.”

Why does Butler resort to such mudslinging? Because she knows that her arguments for the radical transgender agenda are so weak that even a 5-year-old can see right through them. She even tries to argue that the Bible supports the transgender movement.

Among the groups that Butler singles out for her wrath is the International Organization for the Family, the publisher of IFAMnews. She writes: “According to Angnieskza Graff, co-author with Elzbieta Korolczuk of Anti-Gender Politics in the Populist Movement, the networks amplifying and circulating the anti-gender viewpoint include the International Organization for the Family, which boasts thousands of participants at its conferences….”

While knowing that The Guardian is left-wing, IOF thought that the paper would have the journalistic integrity to print our reasoned response (which appears below) to Butler’s article; especially in light of the fact that she explicitly attacks us. But clearly we were wrong, as the paper point-blank refused to print our response and with no reason given. It appears that The Guardian has now become a paper totally beholden to the Left and has given up even the attempt to appear objective.

While IOF was disappointed that the paper did not print our response, we were still able to derive satisfaction from the fact that our efforts to support the family are having such an important effect that radical LGBT activists have to attack us by name. Theologian Peter Kreeft’s words about committed Christians applies to us as well: “If nobody wants to crucify you, you are not doing your job.” IOF must be doing its job because of late we have come under increasing attack from the Left. For example, in July 2021 the left-wing European Parliamentary Forum for Sexual and Reproductive Rights repeatedly attacked IOF and its leaders by name in its report Tip of the Iceberg: Religious Extremist Funders against Human Rights for Sexuality and Reproductive Health in Europe 2009 – 2018.)

So rest assured, dear readers. IOF will continue to staunchly defend the family, a culture of life, and the Judeo-Christian worldview no matter who attacks us. When you are committed to forthrightly living and speaking the truth–and suffering the slings and arrows in the process–know that in the end, your efforts will bear fruit; thirty, sixty, or one hundred-fold, as the Bible tells us.

No, Judith Butler, family advocates are not fascists

By Brian Brown, President of the International Organization for the Family

Judith Butler’s Why is the idea of ‘gender’ provoking backlash the world over? perfectly illustrates the old propagandist’s trick of accusing her enemies of the very thing of which she is guilty. Dr. Butler breathlessly claims that “anti-gender movements are not just reactionary but fascist trends.” And she singles out the International Organization for the Family as one of the key groups behind this “fascist” ideology.

Never mind that reason and science underscore the fundamental reality of biology; never mind that we have witnessed increasing violence against those of us who affirm the truth about biological reality; never mind that opposition to the propaganda of gender ideology is rooted deeply in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights…. No, all that matters is that we have transgressed the limits of what Judith Butler views as acceptable discourse. We must be punished. And Butler will help mete out that punishment by declaring us fascists.
It is as absurd as it is predictable.

What inspires fear and anger in proponents of gender ideology is that the same tools that they have used to undermine biological reality are now being used against them: the deconstructionists can not stand for their own ideas to be deconstructed.

Gender ideology at its core is an attempt to deconstruct what it is to be a human. By tearing biology away from our humanity, it seeks to alter human nature itself.

But when an honest observer looks at who are in positions of power, who are attempting to dominate those with less power, who are limiting debate to achieve their ends, it is clear that it is Judith Butler and her clique that are using power to control and silence. When you critically analyze the rhetoric of gender ideology you see how much it is used a tool of power. Gender ideologists seek to silence and punish. They seek to deny the humanity of the other, to cancel ideas and arguments they disagree with, to create two classes of human beings—the enlightened and the unenlightened.

For those of us who condemn violence and hatred and believe in true human freedom, it is gender ideology that is increasingly looking more and more reactionary…or should I say, as Dr. Butler does, fascist?
