The weekend of 16 and 17 September was bursting with support for life in Germany. One pro-life march took place in Cologne, with an estimated 2,800 people in attendance.
This is the first March for Life in this German city and it provoked a reaction of radical leftists and queer feminists.
Together with the Berlin March for Life, a total of around 7,000 people were in the streets during the weekend to show their support for the pro-life movement.
President of the Federal Union Right to Life (Bundesverband Lebensrecht) Alexandra Maria Linder said, “There were many young people and also families. Our movement grows. Everything happened peacefully and businesslike.”
She added that she hopes that next time, the March for Life will be held in even more German cities.
