French town dumps “mom”, goes with “Feast of the People We Love”

It started with the initiative of a gay couple who has a "daughter," although she does have a mother. But who cares, right?

Beware! If you call them “moms,” you risk coming under the axe of the progressive mainstream. To escape the danger in the United Kingdom, people have come up with a substitute expression that, at the very least, causes some confusion: “postnatal people.” An extreme and ridiculous attempt to twist language to accommodate the newspeak of gender ideology.

But such things are not restricted to Britain. France has also jumped on the gender-crazy bandwagon and is doing its part in the gender-fluid language revolution. Under the guise of inclusivity, it celebrated “Lovers’ Day” instead of “Mother’s Day” in several schools on May 29 to accommodate same-sex couples. According to Le Parisien, the bright idea was reportedly born in Voisins-le-Bretonneaux by a gay couple, Rodrigo and his partner, who are “parents” of a baby girl.

The two allegedly had the audacity to write no less than an indignant letter to the mayor, demanding the explicit deletion of the (verbatim) “unbearable” “Mother’s Day” from the school attended by “their” child because it was considered a social stigma against them. And all of this is supposed to help avoid “any suffering to children and embarrassing situations to teachers,” in the name of “family diversity.”

And yet Rodrigo and his partner’s “daughter” has a mother, a real one. So? Well, after an initial refusal, the school authorities relented, renaming the event as the “Feast of the People We Love.”

Incredible statements from the mayor of Voisins-le-Bretonneaux, Alexandra Rosetti: “I had never thought about this issue. We need parents to sound the alarm bells so that society is in tune with our times.” Misogyny at its finest.
