Contrary to the popular belief perpetuated by the liberal media, Democrat politicians, and abortion activists, the claim that 70% of Americans support a woman’s “right to choose” is false. In reality, for decades, a majority of Americans have taken a pro-life stance, advocating for all or most abortions to be made illegal. While Americans do support certain exceptions, such as in cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is in danger, these cases make up less than 2% of all abortions. The vast majority of abortions, around 98%, are performed as a form of birth control.

Multiple polls conducted in recent years consistently reveal that between 50-60% of Americans want all or most abortions to be made illegal. Some major polls in June, March, January, and other months have confirmed this sentiment. These polls demonstrate that the majority of Americans still hold a pro-life position.

Moreover, these polls indicate that Americans support various pro-life measures. For example, in Florida, 62% of residents want an abortion ban protecting babies with beating hearts. In North Carolina, 67% of voters support an abortion ban or limits. In Virginia, 60% of residents want to ban abortions on babies who can feel pain. These findings further support the fact that Americans are in favor of restricting or eliminating abortion.

These statistics debunk the common narrative promoted by pro-abortion advocates and show that the American public is predominantly pro-life. Despite their claims, President Joe Biden and his administration support abortions up until birth. The administration has urged Congress to pass the Abortion Without Limits Up to Birth Act, which would eliminate numerous abortion restrictions nationwide. However, the majority of Americans prefer pro-life candidates and support limitations on abortions.

It is crucial to recognize the true sentiments of Americans regarding abortion and to challenge the false information perpetuated by certain groups. The consistent polling data reveals that a significant majority of Americans advocate for a pro-life stance, desiring greater restrictions on abortions.
