Undercover footage from 2015 showing Planned Parenthood officials discussing their abortion methods has been released by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP). This video, which Planned Parenthood battled to keep under wraps for nearly a decade, reveals horrifying accounts of how aborted babies’ bodies were mutilated to cover up the illegal abortion methods used.
The video recorded at the 2015 National Abortion Federation’s commercial trade show portrays Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast’s chief medical officer Dr. Ann Schutt-Aine and vice president of abortion access Tram Nguyen discussing standard procedures with undercover CMP journalists. This includes the shocking revelation that the organization sometimes dismembers babies in the womb to avoid partial-birth abortion, a practice considered illegal under federal law since 2003.
CMP founder and project lead David Daleiden react to the footage, stating that instead of “rebuffing” opportunities to sell aborted baby body parts, Planned Parenthood was “ghoulishly eager” to carry out high yielding procedures. He also mentioned the hostility they faced from Kamala Harris during her tenure as California Attorney General when she ordered a raid on Daleiden’s home and seized the footage.
Despite the gravity of the scandal, no administration, from Obama to Trump and Biden, has ever taken action against any of the abortion organizations implicated in CMP’s investigative findings. Vice President Kamala Harris, who was Attorney General of California at the time, was accused by Daleiden of a “cover-up.” She was later found to have coordinated with Planned Parenthood on how to handle the situation.
