In a scathing revelation highlighting the European Union’s hypocritical assault on national sovereignty, Fidesz MEP Csaba Dömötör has uncovered how Brussels is funneling millions in taxpayer money to NGOs that relentlessly criticize Hungary. Writing on social media, Dömötör declared: “The European Commission is criticizing Hungary with the help of organizations that it finances for itself.”

This exposes a blatant conflict of interest, where the EC bankrolls its own attack dogs to undermine conservative governments that dare to defend traditional values and secure borders. Dömötör detailed the funding lavished on these left-leaning groups, which he accuses of spreading propaganda against Hungary’s pro-family and anti-migration policies. Key recipients include Transparency International, receiving €3.2 million; Amnesty International, with €2.8 million; and the Helsinki Committee, pocketing €1.5 million.

“And where do they get the money? From the European Commission,” Dömötör emphasized, pointing out how these organizations use EU grants to fuel reports and campaigns that paint Hungary as a “rule of law” violator. This financial web underscores Brussels’ agenda to punish nations like Hungary for resisting globalist mandates on LGBT ideology, open borders, and secular overreach. Under Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Hungary has stood firm against EU pressures, prioritizing Christian heritage and family protections.

Yet, the EC’s funding of these NGOs—often linked to George Soros-style networks—serves as a tool to erode such resistance, withholding billions in EU funds while propping up critics. Conservatives across Europe applaud Dömötör’s exposé as a call to action against supranational meddling.
