Black Lives Matter: ’tis the season to hijack Christmas

It's business-as-usual for BLM. They may claim to be helping blacks in the "spirit of Christmas", but the endeavour is spiritually bankrupt. Hence, it has nothing to do with Christmas. Then again, that's how Marxists roll.

Once again, Black Lives Matter (BLM) is spreading Christmas cheer by encouraging better relations between people of all races.

And then I woke up after drinking too much eggnog.

Rather, Black Lives Matter is doing as Black Lives Matter has always done; sowing dissension and fostering racism. The trained Marxists are now encouraging black people to boycott white-owned businesses during this Christmas season and shop only in black-owned businesses. On the BLM-sponsored website blackxmas.com, BLM boldly declares: “#BuildBlack #BuyBlack #BankBlack. We’re dreaming of a #BlackXmas. That means no spending with white companies from 11/26/21-1/01/22…#DIVEST from White corporations…If you must buy #BUYBLACK.”

BLM expands on its BlackXmas campaign by stating on its own website:

Beginning in 2014… Black Lives Matter has been challenging people to ‘dream of a #BlackXmas,” to intentionally use our economic resources to disrupt white-supremacist-capitalism and build Black Community… Let’s harness our economic power to disrupt white-supremacist-capitalism and build Black community. #BlackXmas is about being self-determined and dismantling existing structures by building new, and more viable, beneficial ones.

And how does BLM plan to carry out its ambitious BlackXmas agenda? By encouraging black people to do three things: “Build Black,” ‘Buy Black,” and “Bank Black”:

#BuildBlack: Invest in Black-led, Black-serving organizations by making donations in the names of your loved ones as holiday gifts.

#BuyBlack: When buying items, spend exclusively with Black-owned businesses from Black Friday through New Year.

#BankBlack: Move your money from white corporate banks (that finance gentrification, prisons, and environmental degradation) to Black-owned ones.

Incredibly, the BLM post regarding BlackXmas includes the farce that policing in America was initially created to control Black people: “As BLMLA organizer, Jan Williams, reminds us, “Capitalism doesn’t love Black people.” In fact, white-supremacist-capitalism invented policing, initially as chattel-slavery-era “paddy rollers,” in order to protect its interests and put targets on the backs of Black people.” So I guess police were not needed before slavery in America as no one anywhere ever committed a crime and the public did not need to be protected. Glad BLM knows its history.

If you go to the BlackXmas website, you can find a list of businesses owned by Black people that BLM says should be patronized. BLM also states, “We are taking your suggestions! Have a Black organization, business, or bank we should profile? Let us know!” Whites and Hispanics need not respond.

So there you have it. An organization that supposedly was created to ensure equal treatment for Black people ends up promoting policies that openly call for discriminating against non-Black people. Anyone who believes that Black Lives Matter is dedicated to healing racial divisions and promoting peace in America have had their eggnog spiked, and should think again.
