Canadian parents urged to boycott schools on Pride Month’s inception

Campaign Life Coalition (CLC), a prominent Canadian pro-life and pro-family group, has issued a call for parents to boycott schools on June 1, marking the beginning of “Pride Month.” The move, termed National Pride Flag Walk-Out Day, is a protest against the public education system’s support for the Pride movement. According to CLC, the LGBT agenda has been causing damage, particularly by inducing sexual confusion among young children and teenagers through gender ideology indoctrination in schools.

CLC’s director of political operations, Jack Fonseca, contends that LGBT activists have exploited schools to the point where an increasing number of young people are seeking drastic measures such as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and even surgeries. Fonseca asserts that parents must regain control over the moral education of their children, challenging the influence of transgender and gay lobbies peacefully yet assertively.

In addition to advocating for the school walkout, CLC has planned several “pray-ins” at school boards and Catholic bishops’ offices in various cities for those who do not have children in schools but wish to oppose the LGBT agenda. The organization is also disseminating printable handouts detailing the event to raise awareness among parents, students, and other concerned parties.

This nationwide campaign seeks to unite those who believe there is a need to resist the influence of the LGBT agenda on children’s education. Recently, around a third of the student body of Eagle Heights Elementary School in London, Ontario, was absent when “pride” flags were raised to commemorate the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia.

Fonseca applauded these actions, suggesting that the risk of being labeled “homophobic” was less significant to parents than safeguarding their children from accepting harmful ideologies.
