The position of the organizers is stated in the official Regulations:
“Human life is certainly one of Russia’s traditional spiritual and moral values. This fact is recognized by our state at the highest level. But you can’t dwell on declarations. Everything must be done to ensure that the protection of human life at all its stages, from conception to natural death, becomes one of the top priorities of our society.
This requires a rethinking of approaches to solving a variety of social problems, changes in strategic plans of the state and the practice of public administration, and improvement of legislation.
From the moment of conception, a child’s life should be regarded as the greatest treasure, requiring special protection and care.
Russia needs all conceived children–we must not deprive them of the gift of life, but rather do everything to ensure that they come into this world and are lovingly welcomed here.
The value of life must be proclaimed everywhere–in the media, in educational programs, in culture. There must be an end to the propaganda of the murder of unborn children and the rejection of procreation as a matter of principle.
All kinds of business and all forms of profit associated with the killing of unborn children must be eradicated. Turning the deaths of children into a source of profit and income is a crime. Public, popular money should never be used to fund abortions and any other practices that involve causing the death of children before they are born.
It is also necessary to fully support the efforts of representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church, other traditional religious communities, and public organizations that rely on traditional moral values in their work to protect human life. Russia must become the force of life!”
