A well-known Scottish transgender activist is facing the courts after being charged with multiple counts of child sexual abuse. Kizzy Lavender Lee, born Samuel Wimbridge, once a leader within Newbury Pride and a speaker at LGBT events, has now been accused of attempting to sexually exploit a girl under the age of 13 and producing indecent images of her.
In a September 16 appearance before Reading Crown Court, Wimbridge pleaded not guilty to the charges, which include attempting to incite a child to engage in penetrative sexual activity, sexual communication with a minor, and the creation of child sexual abuse material. The accusations paint a horrifying picture of a man deeply involved in activist circles, now accused of crimes against the very children activists claim to “protect.”
Wimbridge had been an outspoken transgender campaigner, serving in senior roles with Newbury Pride and speaking publicly at a Trans Day of Remembrance hosted by Reading Pride in 2022. He often portrayed himself as a victim of “transphobia,” recounting alleged incidents where others mocked his sex. Yet behind the public image, prosecutors now allege predatory behavior directed toward a vulnerable child.
Evidence uncovered also suggests Wimbridge cultivated disturbing online personas. Under alternative names, he referenced fetish themes like BDSM and “age play”. Despite adopting the name Kizzy Lavender Lee in 2022, court records confirm his male identity as Samuel Wimbridge. This case should serve as an example of the dangerous consequences of allowing sexual perversion to be culturally accepted and praised.
