The “pregnant man”: Netflix pushes transgender ideology with new series; stock price already plummeting

After disappointing quarterly figures, Netflix's share price falls by 30%. Now the streaming company is releasing a new transgender series.

US streaming service provider Netflix has released a new series centered on a pregnant man (sic!).

Netflix describes its Japanese comedy drama “He’s expecting” as follows: “When a successful advertising executive who has it all figured out gets pregnant, he’s forced to confront social injustices he never considered before.”

The April 21 launch of the Japanese transgender series came shortly after the release of the new “pregnant man” emoji and other gender-neutral emojis for iPhone users through tech giant Apple’s new operating system update. The introduction of these transgender figures was announced by Apple months ago (as iFamNews reported).

Twitter users criticized the release of the transgender series and castigated the company for its woke agenda. For example, one user commented:

“Netflix ‘He’s Expecting….’ …. a visit from the local psychiatrist….” (@MinisterFTO, April 20, 2022).

Another user wrote: “What a crock of sh*te!” (@LadyNoo22, April 20, 2022).

The announcement of the series comes shortly after Netflix’s stock price plummeted by a whopping 30% on April 20. The company had to announce that it had lost around 200,000 paying subscribers in the first quarter of 2022. Netflix justified the fall in the share price, among other things, with the discontinued distribution of the program in Russia due to the Ukraine war.

Tesla founder and billionaire Elon Musk, however, explicitly linked the Netflix share price plunge to “woke” themes. “The woke mind virus is making Netflix unwatchable,” he commented on the plunging share prices, recalling the now common phrase: Go woke, go broke.
