We all know that Europe is rapidly depopulating. Indeed, by 2100 the population of Europe is expected to decline by 26%; that is, over the next 78 years Europe is expected to lose 200 million people. Such a catastrophic loss of population would not have been seen in Europe since the time of the black plague in the middle ages. Among the regions of Europe, Central Europe is expected to lose 54% of its population, Eastern Europe 34% of its population, and Western Europe 14% of its population. Among the countries hardest hit will be Bulgaria (-63%), Poland (-60%), Portugal (-58), Slovakia (-53%), Spain (-51%), Italy (-50%), Greece (-47%), Hungary (-47%), Czech Republic (-36%), and Germany (-21%). But for immigration from Africa and the Muslim world, the decline in Europe would have been ever greater.
With such disastrous demographic numbers looming before it, one would expect the European Union to do all it can to support the formation of more traditional married mother-father families so that more children could be born. But since the EU has been completely taken over by the radical LGBT lobby, it is taking the exact opposite course. For example, the EU Program for Education, Training, Youth and Sport, known as Erasmus+ and run by the European Commission (EU executive branch), tweeted on June 1, 2022, that the “Future is Queer” to celebrate LGBT Pride Month:
“No two people are the same, we are all unique. Each one of us is the result of our own values, dreams, ambitions and talents. In this Pride, we want to assert our singularities because, when combined, they make us stronger. This month follow #TheFutureIsQueer. And be proud.”
If the future is indeed “queer,” with more people entering into homosexual and other relationships that are barren, Europe will definitely lose at least 200 million people, and probably much more, by 2100. For the leftwing bureaucrats running the European Union, the one thing you are forbidden to celebrate and promote is traditional families—the only thing that produces the next generation and gives hope to a society continuing. Let’s hope that Hungary and Poland, the two EU countries that seriously understand the demographic winter that is coming to Europe and are doing all they can to promote traditional families, will be able to talk some sense to an EU that is happy to see Europe go into a population free fall.
