Pro-family app counters corporate abortion benefits with ‘baby bonus'”

PublicSq., an application aimed at connecting patriotic businesses with quality products and services, is countering the corporate trend to promote abortion over maternity benefits. Michael Seifert, the company’s CEO and founder, announced a new “baby bonus” policy during an interview on ‘Fox & Friends Weekend,’ where he emphasized the importance of empowering families to the well-being of his company. Seifert criticized what he sees as an anti-family trend in the corporate world, stating that a company’s strength is derived from the families that build it, a belief fundamental to PublicSq.’s pro-family stance.

The company has decided to put financial backing behind this belief by offering a $5,000 bonus to any employee who has a baby or adopts a child. Seifert’s initiative stands in stark contrast to companies such as Amazon, Airbnb, Target, and Patagonia, which have chosen to offer abortion benefits to their employees. The $5,000 bonus, which is given after tax, can be used at the discretion of the employee, serving as a thank you for their contribution and a support to the growth of their family.

The decision to offer a “baby bonus” comes in response to the wave of abortion benefits announced by multiple companies following the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade last year. Amazon, for example, has pledged to cover $4,000 in non-life threatening medical treatments, including abortions, if procedures are unavailable within 100 miles of the employee’s residence. Other major corporations like Bumble, Uber, Lyft, Alaska Airlines, Starbucks, Netflix, Yelp, and others have announced similar policies.

Seifert disputes the narrative that these companies are implementing these policies to empower women. He argues that the real motive is to avoid the costs associated with maternity leave. He contends that these corporations are prioritizing their bottom lines over the growth and empowerment of families, a practice that Seifert believes is destructive. Seifert wishes more companies would recognize the value of family growth, arguing that strong families are the building blocks of a strong nation.

Seifert reports that PublicSq.’s new policy has already yielded positive results. In the past month alone, three pregnancies have been announced amongst his employees. This suggests that the policy has been well-received and that people are excited about the prospect of growing their families with this financial support.
