These gestures took place before games or just prior to the national anthem, showing that many franchises felt compelled to acknowledge the tragedy.
At Lambeau Field, the announcer’s message was strong: “The National Football League asks that you please join us in a moment of silent reflection following the murder of Charlie Kirk. The NFL condemns all violence in our communities. It will take all of us to stop hate.” These words echoed through stadiums that honored him, reinforcing the NFL’s stance against violence.
