Recently obtained 911 records from this emergency, provided by Pro-Life Action League, reveal the woman involved had undergone an abortion. However, precise details about her medical condition were notably absent from the call. The lack of complete transparency demonstrated in such calls adds to the disturbing trend of withheld information and shrouds the true extent of women’s suffering post-abortion.
Moreover, the City of Chicago has been reportedly unresponsive to Freedom of Information Act public record requests related to these 911 calls, in direct violation of federal laws advocating public accountability. Public records like 911 calls should be accessible to citizens, fostering transparency and accountability in government actions. Despite this, efforts to obtain these records have routinely met with resistance or remain unfulfilled.
Operation Rescue President, Troy Newman, affirmed their persistent aim to expose these hidden realities and uphold accountability in the abortion sector. Newman emphasized the fundamental public right to be informed and promised to uphold it.
