Life is quite literally on the ballot next week in ten US states. Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry are hoping to continue their unbroken streak of winning ballot measure fights in states to enshrine their extreme abortion on demand agenda into state constitutions.
When the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade in 2022, the abortion industry was ready to immediately move the fight to state ballots. Unfortunately, the pro-life community was caught flat-footed. As a result, the abortion industry has won seven straight ballot measure fights in a row, including in deep red states like Kansas, Kentucky and Ohio.
A new combatant has entered the contest to help fight for women and the unborn. BeyondRoe.com was formed by longtime pro-family leaders Brian Brown and Frank Schubert, along with other pro-life champions.
Schubert is probably the most experienced and successful political professional in America in terms of winning ballot measure and issue campaigns. He’s managed 50 such statewide campaign efforts, winning an overwhelming percentage for his clients including on difficult cultural issues such as traditional marriage in deep blue and purple states.
Brian Brown also brings extensive ballot measure experience to BeyondRoe.com including serving as Campaign Chair, Board Member and Treasurer of various efforts. Schubert and Brown have worked together on numerous pro-family efforts including with the National Organization for Marriage and the International Organization for the Family, publisher of iFamNews.com.
BeyondRoe.com is communicating with voters in all ten states where abortion is on the ballot, delivering critical information including links to ads.
A particularly intense effort is being waged in South Dakota to defeat pending Amendment G, a measure advocated by the abortion industry to enshrine abortion on demand into the South Dakota constitution. In that state, BeyondRoe.com has launched a statewide ad campaign aimed at voters in the middle of the abortion issue, against banning abortion but also against abortion on demand.
“BeyondRoe.com is unequivocally prolife in all circumstances, but the reality is that not everyone agrees with us,” Schubert told iFamNews.com. “Persuading the voter segment that’s in the middle is critical to winning these ballot measure battles on abortion.”
