I saw the story and immediately I harrumphed, “good grief… what’s next?”
And then I paused. And then I corrected myself; “well… that’s what they want, isn’t it?”
And then I chided myself for snapping to that initial response.
These are crazy times. They are so absurd, we may often feel the need to laugh off the absurdity… even as it rolls over us, knocking us off our feet. Coping mechanism, I guess. Rarely, though, do we consider the true weight of what is happening to us… to everything and everyone all around us.
This cultural invasion… this, “ideological subversion” as former KGB spy Yuri Bezmenov told us… is everywhere. And now, even in your child’s nursery.
Minnie Mouse is in a pantsuit. And this, my friends, is Communism. Make no mistake.
Friedrich Engels famously stated, following the death of his more famous revolutionary cohort Karl Marx, “It is a peculiar fact that with every great revolutionary movement the question of ‘free love’ comes to the foreground.”
And it’s been a master-class pulled off by his present-day Communist understudies. For, is not everything woke (a slang subset of cultural Marxism, in my humble opinion) these days cloaked in… “love”? Marx and Engels, who penned The Communist Manifesto (the Leftist bible, if you will), may have championed ‘free love’, but there’s nothing “free” about it. In fact, it is a heavy price to pay with ‘free love’ being used to completely dismantle the family and Natural Law.
We are so far-removed from traditional gender roles that too many among us meet Minnie-in-a-pantsuit with fist-in-the-air acceptance, clever memes, or a “makes no difference to me” shrugging off of the situation. And the mainstream media’s pantsuit promotion should give us pause to realize the rot is deep-seated.
When I was a member of the mainstream media, I not only saw the rot in newspapers, television, radio, and the internet, I witnessed it in a host of newsrooms, production meetings, and water-cooler chats. I knew there really was only one solution to the problem, from a personal standpoint: keep living the faith, and keep adhering to Truth. Not “your” truth. Capital “T” truth. One centred on Christ and the Church He founded. It ultimately led to my firing from Rogers Sportsnet when I tweeted in defense of the institution of marriage. That was over 10 years ago. And while it’s been a struggle, I still wouldn’t change it for anything. It’s been a real eye-opener, to say the least.
And unfortunately, I’m here to tell you that the road is difficult. It is certainly narrow. And there are very few companions trudging along. But this has all been mapped out. And our role model is the Word Incarnate, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. And He is in control, even if you might think He isn’t. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost created man and woman; each distinct and separate and, when bonding flesh, create new life. It’s a miracle, and yet natural.
But Communism has always railed against this. And it’s winning the battle today.
Communism has made man ‘god’. Its goal has always been–to borrow from California State University history professor Richard Weikart– to upend naturalism by way of its radicalism. And it makes no dime of a difference if Marx and Engles, or any other 19th century Communist ever mentioned feminine cartoon characters in pantsuits or men who identify as women in girls’ change rooms or same-sex “marriage”. The die was cast when Communism sought to rewrite human history and make the perverse ‘natural’.
And we see it in every corner of the world today. See how a human being’s natural immunity is glossed over as “fake news” and being cancelled before our very eyes? But then, how else would the Communists readying for their ‘Reset’ so easily, so convincingly… so coercively “sell” us on these experimental medical therapies being disguised as vaccines?
In Catholic eschatology, we are told that there would be a great falling away from faith and that it will reach even the upper rungs of the Church. The Blessed Virgin Mary visited three children at Fatima, Portugal on six separate occasions throughout 1917 to warn them of the “Errors of Russia” (The Miracle of the Sun on October 17 taking place just weeks before the Bolshevik Revolution!). In one apparition, Our Lady told the youngest child Jacinta that most souls wind up in hell from sins of the flesh.
Friends, Minnie’s pantsuit is but a symptom of the disease. And we should take it seriously.
And if, like me, you slough it off with a “good grief… what’s next?”, make sure you have the wherewithal to answer it with the following: “my vigilance”.
