As we all sadly learned recently, a 28-year-old deranged woman who identified as a man entered the Christian school she formerly attended in Nashville, Tennessee, and killed three adults and three children before being killed herself by police. Based on the evidence so far, it appears that the woman specifically targeted the school because it does not support the transgender agenda. As reported by the Epoch Times, Police Chief John Drake stated:
“We have some writings that we’re going over that pertain to this date, the actual incident. We have a map drawn out of how this was all going to take place…there’s some belief that there was some resentment for having to go to that school.”
On its website, the school unequivocally declares its commitment to Christian principles:
“Ours is a unique challenge — to educate twenty-first-century children in a way that prepares them to impact their culture and think in accordance with timeless Truth…At the Covenant School, we are about more than simply educating our students — we are participating in the miracle of their development and seeing them transform into who they will be. Impactful teaching methods and programs, daily all-school chapel, and school-wide service-learning are the backdrop for the real work — helping children become who God intends them to be.”
Since this case appears to be about using violence to protest Christian principles, a question remained: Why had Amazon been selling products that support the use of violence by transgender activists? On its website the shopping giant had been selling shirts and mugs that clearly promoted violence as a way to achieve the transgender agenda. Indeed, the transgender shooter in this case used weapons exactly like those shown on the Amazon products.
As soon as the International Organization for the Family (IOF), the parent of IfamNews, and the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) learned of this outrage by Amazon, they sprang into action by starting a social media campaign on Twitter targeted against the sale of such hateful products supporting violence against anyone opposed to the radical transgender agenda.
And the campaign was a huge success! Within hours of launching the media campaign, Amazon backed down and removed the offending products from its platform. Speaking of the campaign’s success, Brian Brown, president of IOF, declared:
“While this is a step in the right direction, and we have every reason to celebrate, we must remain vigilant in our fight against LGBT hate and violence against anyone who thinks and believes differently than radical LGBT activists. It is crucial that we continue to work together to create a safer society for everyone, especially Christians.”
Brown added that both IOF and NOM would continue to monitor Big Tech to make sure that hatred against Christians and others is stopped in its tracks:
“In the coming months, we will closely monitor the digital space to make sure none of the Big Tech companies are promoting trans hatred or are in any other way accomplices in spreading trans violence against people who are refusing to bow before this devastating ideology.”
