Film “Jesus Revolution” exceeds all expectations at the box office

While woke trash has flopped, the new Jesus film about a true incident achieves terrific success, both with the audience and at the box office.

The new film “Jesus Revolution” has exceeded all expectations at the box office: it grossed $16 million in its opening weekend at 2,475 theaters, according to Box Office Mojo. It will now be shown in 2,575 theaters.

Audiences loved the film, giving it a 99 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, while reviews were more mixed. Although the film is still “fresh,” it currently has a 60 percent critic rating on RT and a 7.8 rating on IMDB, based on 2.6k votes, according to Breitbart News.

The Christian film comedy is directed by Jon Gunn and co-directed by Jon Erwin. Set in the late 1960s, the film follows the true story of the hippie Jesus movement that began in Southern California. The film stars such actors as Joel Courtney, Jordan Allen and Sherry Shepherd, and also features a guest appearance by Kelsey Grammer.

It centers on a group of young people lost in the counterculture of the 1960s who found their way to Jesus through a spiritual awakening. The film depicts the journey of the group as they form a community that combines their newfound faith with their love of rock music and peace.

“Jesus Revolution” has been praised for its positive message and humor, making it a unique film about faith. The film’s success at the box office is attributed to its powerful and inspiring story, as well as the rave word-of-mouth reviews from moviegoers.
