Thumbs up on the family front – spotlight on the good things happening in the world

Imprisoned Canadian against LGBT+ dictatorship, Americans cancelling "cancel culture", and even Irish feminists get it right on "hate speech".

Life

Dominican Republic. With commendable courage the pro-life world is fighting by all means possible to prevent the passage of the law that would legalize abortion in a country where it is prohibited under the Constitution.

The pro-life world is taking great comfort in the words of Msgr. Athanasius Schneider, auxiliary bishop of Astana, Kazakhstan, who urged the building of a worldwide movement for life.

United States of America. Once again the Catholic bishops denounced the new pro-abortion measures approved by President Joe Biden.

Family

Supporting the family and family policies is an imperative, says the The Public Discourse journal, founded by bioethicist Ryan T. Anderson.

Candace Owens, a rising star of American conservatism, spurs parents and families to defend the freedom of teaching, in order to prevent indoctrination taking place in public schools.

Several American associations in the USA have duly developed effective tools to combat the so-called “cancel culture” in schools of all levels.

LGTB+

Thanks to Robert Hoogland‘s example. With courage and determination, he opposed the gender transition of his daughter and was imprisoned for his troubles. Several hundred people took to streets across Canada to protest against the increasingly oppressive impositions of gender ideology.

The list of North American states that do not allow transgender people, i.e. biological males to participate in women’s sports competitions is getting longer.

Ireland. The feminist world is publicly opposing the proposals being considered by the European Commission to introduce a directive against hate speech, calling the measures “a threat to the freedom of speech and thought”.
