Anderson Cooper depriving yet another child of a mother

The CNN anchor has announced the birth of a second child via surrogacy. And with his now ex-partner, he continues to push the LGBT agenda of re-formulating the 'family'. And in the maelstrom, another child is a abused of being denied his mother.

The death of a child’s mother is a true tragedy. No one would ever wish this on any child. Indeed, the bond between a child and his mother is the strongest in the world and to have this bond broken causes irreparable harm to a child. The question thus remains: if a child being deprived of his mother by death is a great tragedy, why do elites in our country celebrate the use of surrogacy by homosexual men that by definition will produce a child that will be deprived of his mother from birth?

Woke People Magazine just ran an article celebrating Anderson Cooper and his former male partner “having” a second baby through the use of surrogacy. The article begins:

“Anderson Cooper has welcomed another child, Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper. The longtime CNN anchor, 54, announced the exciting baby news on his CNN show Anderson Cooper 360 Thursday. ‘I wanted to start out with some good news, which also happens to be very personal news,’ Cooper began, recalling that he had announced the birth of his [first] son [also through surrogacy], Wyatt, during the ‘early dark days of the pandemic’ in April 2020. ‘These are the pictures I showed of Wyatt then, taken just days after he was born. This is Wyatt today. He is nearly 22 months old. He is sweet, funny, and the greatest joy of my life. If he looks particularly happy in this picture, it’s because he now has a baby brother. His name is Sebastian, and I would like you to meet him,’ Cooper continued, introducing his adorable new son to the world.”

And how was his new son going to be raised? The article states:

“Cooper went on to reveal that both Wyatt and Sebastian are being raised by him and his ‘best friend and former partner,’ Benjamin Maisani. ‘Wyatt calls me ‘daddy’ and Benjamin ‘papa.’ We’re a family. Benjamin is also in the process of adopting Wyatt, whose last name will be changed to Maisani-Cooper as well.’”

(Since Maisani is only a “former” partner, how will all this work? I guess wokeness has created another “family” form. But I digress…)

The article then notes that Cooper gave a nod to the birth mother of Sebastian:

“The CNN News anchor then thanked the ‘amazing’ doctors and nurses who helped bring Sebastian into the world, and also issued a heartfelt message to baby Sebastian’s surrogate, thanking her and her family for the ‘sacrifices’ they all made.”

Of course, the article did not mention anything about the fact that Sebastian was going to be raised on purpose without a mother and would be deprived of that most important bond in the world with his mother. All this did not have to be said because all that mattered were that Cooper and his former male partner were happy. Indeed, in the woke world the interests of children, whether inside or outside the womb, do not count for anything; only the interests of adults matter.

Once again a woke magazine, this time People, “celebrates” the birth of yet another child who will be raised on purpose without his mother. Indeed, this is viewed as a triumph of the modern world, where surrogacy now allows infertile homosexual couples to have children. Whether being deprived of a mother will harm the child is of no consequence; all that matters is that the adults involved are happy. Indeed, in the dystopian world of wokeness, to say that a child needs both a mother and father is the height of bigotry.

And thus Western Civilization came tumbling down….
